Postcard of the Interwebs - 12 Oct 2012

Here are some interesting links to the interwebs in the last while:

Incredibox: This is a very cool music making program for beatbox style sounds. You can make a diddty and send it to people as well. I did a few for my wife and she enjoyed them, as I have no singing talent whatsoever. Except false castrato. She finds it funny when I sing high pitched false Italian.

Shoot real Zombies in Vancouver: Yes, its real. You can book time to get geared up and shoot actors playing zombies in a improv/scripted get-the-scientist-with-the-cure adventure. Many levels of awesome from Vancouver's movie industry.

Rain: Want to feel better. Click to hear rain falling and nice music. Good to have in the background when working on the computer.

Alzheimer's and Type 3 Diabetes: I've been reading a few articles on this link between processed foods and the slow damaging of the bodies ability to process sugars effectively.

Spanish Scenery Planet: Oh. My. Word. This guy is an awesome terrain maker. I love his terrain workshop as well. Reminds me of Saturday morning "guy" tv with car garages and wood shops. I wish I could understand Spanish but his videos have lots of great and inspiring ideas.

What hit the Earth in 775?: A little article on evidence that something made an impact with the Earth in the past. I love articles like these for Role-Playing game ideas that threaded together with other ideas can make great adventures. For instance, combine this article with the Dyatlov incident and alien mind transfer and you could have a cool campaign.

Homestar Runner: What a great humorous phenom. To the uninitiated it seems bizarre at first but give it a little time. You could spend huge amounts of hours here and still have lots of laughs left to come back.
