Aux Anciens Canadiens

One of the restaurants I visited in old Quebec city was Aux Anciens Canadiens. My spouse and I went here 21 years ago and it is just as delicious now as it was then. Plus it is in an extremely old characterful building too.

I started with the game meat pie with asperigus, turnip, cabbage, and house made tomato sauce. Wonderful.

For dessert I had the maple syrup pie and I was glad I walked around the Old City some more to burn the calories off before bed.
