Evangeline Hotel in Grande Pre

 (Delayed posting. Visited during summer 2024) 

My next base of operations, for three nights, was the Evangeline. There is a hotel in behind the old house but it was in the old house where I stayed, childhood home of Sir Robert Borden, the 8th Prime Minister of Canada.

The room was massive and nicely furnished. There was a bow to the floor as the house is over a hundred years old.

There is a very nice sitting room available to guests.

A small kitchen with kettle, fridge, and microwave is available to guests.

I would stay here again if in the area.
