Nova Scotia - Digby

Settled in 1783, Digby currently has a population of just over 2,000. It is famous for its scallop fleet and is the largest community in its county.
While I am here the town is having Scallop days so there are lots of events happening. Digby was also named by Canada's Mac-Lean's magazine as Canada's most romantic town. Unfortunately I'm here without my wife but i'll just have to bring those feelings back and hope for the best. I did buy some haddock jerky to take home for her so that may help me in that regard...or not.
My Dad and Step-Mother also live here very close to downtown.
The nice building in the background is the Digby Pines Resort, in the place of the original building built in 1905 which was replaced in 1929. It is currently owned by the province of Nova Scotia.
