Peace by Chocolate - LGBTQ+ Bar

Peace by Chocolate is an amazing Canadian success story from the tragedy of civil war in Syria. In 2012 the Hadad family's chocolate factory in Syria was bombed. They fled to Lebanon as refugees for three years and were then invited to immigrate to Antigonish Nova Scotia, in Canada. There, with the help of the community, built a new factory and have been making great chocolate since.

I have tried many kinds of chocolate from this company and they are all great, even the milk chocolate ones! Recently I saw this bar in Save-On-Foods and picked up two. It is their LGBTQ+ bar made of milk chocolate with hazelnut pieces. $1 of every bar sold goes to initiatives for the Phoenix Youth Programs organization, a good charity from their website. Recommended.
