France - Normandy Day 4 - Chateau D'Audrieu

The lovely Hotel D'Audrieu is near Caen, on its Western side. Built in the 1700's it is now a hotel. The reason for us staying here the one night was their gastronomic (its a one star Michelin restaurant) special, which includes a six course meal with wine pairings. It would not be safe to drive after that!
 The grounds are immaculately kept.
There are extensive grounds that one could walk of bike in.
There is also a very cool treehouse that was being refurbish during our stay.
They also have a great herb garden.
The lounge is a mix of old and new.
Here is the door to our "attic" room.
It is roomy inside with tall vaulted ceilings.
The bathroom is also spacious. Unfortunately the water was cold for showers the next morning. We think because there were few people staying here and hence not a lot of water use to go through the pipes.
