Spain Day 20b - Santa Cruz Museum Part 2 of 2

Continuation of the Museum of Santa Cruz.

Portrait of a gentleman made in the first half of the 16th century. The medal around his neck is the Order of Malta.

Crown of Our Lady of the Forsaken, made for San Francisco del Guamo by Andres Martinez for a statue of Mary in 1641.

They have an open area that has stairs going up for more items.

Roman terracotta objects from 400-200 BCE, found during excavations in 2021 and 2022.

A Roman mosaic.

Zoomed in once.

Zoomed in more. Really cool.

Heading upstairs.

They had an exhibition of Spanish ceramics through the centuries, including this recreation of a ceramic dealer.

An example of what they showed there.
