This past Saturday evening, my wife and I saw a concert
given by
Tafelmusik whom we have seen before. They were in town to present their
“
House of Dreams” multi-media experience, which was fantastic. They spent several
years locating five houses in Europe that featured art and music in their history to create a
musical and visual experience. This permitted the audience to take a tour of
the five homes, with art by
Vermeer,
Canaletto, and Watteau digitally put back, while
listening to Handel, Bach, Marais and Vivaldi. Like their
Galileo Project, it
was a unique experience for the senses. As always, would see them again and
again.
