Pasteis de Nada

Pasteis de Nada is an egg custard tart pastry from Portugal is a delicious treat. When we were in Portugal in 2015, we ate these often and we finished this culinary journey with some of the originals at the original bakery, Pasteis de Belem. When we saw that a local grocery chain was carrying them and that they were from Portugal, we gave them a try. They are quite decent but still pales when having them fresh in the country they are from. Different versions can be found in countries around the world that Portugal had occupied.
