About two months ago I started taking apart the remaining two garden beds. We would have to de-weed and de-root them every year and the plants would rarely grow well, except select types of plants.
The wood was also falling apart on the inside after 11 years of use. The dirt I sifted through and saved to be used in the new vegepods and other items.
We transplanted our chives from our garden bed and they are doing AMAZING in the vegepod. The oregano we planted last year is also still growing great and a mint plant has increased in size and productivity.
In the back we have planted pole beans in the far pots, tomato plants in the closer pots, and potatoes in the bags.
Our garlic has done well this year too and we just snipped the garlic scapes. Some more potato and tomato plants are here too.
The remaining two potato plants. Our fig tree is doing its thing too but we rarely get many after the birds, squirrels, and racoons get theirs.
