Quadra Island - We Wai Kai Campground

The We Wai Kai campground on Quadra Island is a well run and lovely place to spend time at. Its also very central to many of the activities on the island. The sites are large enough for a tent, vehicle, picnic table and more. There would even be room for another tent or an RV in the place of tents.

There are also hookups for power and water although extensions for both may be required depending on distance. The washrooms are very well maintained and they even have showers. Two loonies will give enough time for two people to shower. The main office also has wi-fi, snacks, and a few camping essentials. Also they rent kayaks and campers!
The sites were a little close for our preference but we have been spoiled by our time at Heron Rocks on Hornby.
There are many ravens/crows, squirrels, and interesting spiders about. Interesting because they make an umbrella out of their silk.
The cove is protected by the wind and has many shellfish exposed when the tide is out.
The water also brought some looky-loos when we brought our morning coffee and breakfast to the shore...of the inflatable kind.
We spent four nights here and would come back again.
