Quadra Island Kayaks - Half day excursion

Quadra Island Kayaks was a great experience. When we booked a few days before, it was just us and unknown if a guide was going to be available. Fortunately Ella came in on her day off, got the boats ready, packed our snacks, gave us a quick refresher, and we were off. The location also has bikes for rent and other types of kayak/canoe excursions.
Ella let us determine what type of excursion we wanted so we chose wildlife and hugged the coast for most of the trip.
She showed us local wildlife and the variety of starfish.

Also David Suzuki's house. Nice pad!
We stopped here for a hearty snack provided by Quadra Island Kayaks.
No idea what these are but they look cool.
Heading back.
Realized my camera was waterproof to a certain depth and took this!
They also have a cafe so we enjoyed smoothies after our return. A fun day and would do it again for a full day next time.
