Dalvay-By-The-Sea Hotel

Dalvay-by-the-sea is first rate accommodations on PEI. In hindsight a two day stay might have been better to take advantage of the canoes, bicycles, and such on the grounds. Alas.

Finished in 1895 it was a private residence until the family could no longer upkeep it. Various families took it over until it was sold in 1938 to the federal government to be added to the National Park. It was leased to operators to be used as a hotel and continues to be operated as such today.
