France - Brittany Day 04 - Lehon

Lehon was founded when an Abby set up here in the 9th century. It grew slowly and still remains a small community near Dinan.
This is the inner courtyard of the Abby and church attached to it.
The church is simple and clean.
This is the side pulpit.
This is the resting place of Jean the Fifth of Beaumanoir, who was assassinated on the 14th of February 1385. His ancestor, Jean de Beaumanoir, was instrumental in the combat of the thirty, which exemplified the concept of chivalric combat.. There are a few of these tombs in the church.
This is the main drag of the town.
The cats are plentiful and friendly.
This bridge connects the left and right bank of the river.
