France - Loire Day 02 - Streets of Amboise

A shot of Chateau Amboise and the bridge.
I like how the trees form an ordered path…and it’s a parking lot!
The main square in Amboise at the foot of the Chateau. You can see the fortified pathway going up to the entrance that is perfect for horses.
A view South from the main square. The clock tower is also what is left of the original wall around the city.
A troglodyte home. That’s what they call it. Home made into rock walls originally for the poor but being bought on the cheap and made super nice.
My wife and I laughed at this poor manikin.
The Chateau from the bridge.
An old church at night.
The town square at night.
