So day 2 at Hornby started as every great excursion should, after the previously posted pictures of our morning walk...with oatmeal!
Not just any oatmeal but oatmeal with apples and grilled banana with maple syrup!
We then went to the Saturday farmer's market and picked up some garlic (for planting and eating) and a shirt for me. We then went to get some lunch at the Ringside market area of the island. They had this lovely mural painted by an artist we have a silkscreen print from, Graham Herbert.
We then had lunch at Vorizo Cafe and I ordered the pulled pork Mexican platter. Delicious!
The garden center across the road was wonderfully random.
We then visited a few pottery and artists residences to see what they had. Then we went to Helliwell park to walk around before picking up our Hornby Island Bakery pizza!
That's me walking away and doing my best Bill Bixby impersonation.
