Villiage Taverna
The Village Taverna is in Cook street village. It was opened by one of the son's of the owner of Eugene's (closed last year after 30 years). We went here for lunch and each tried the lamb platter for one. It was cooked and prepared excellently: lamb was succulent, squid was soft, and the humus was just garlicky enough. I tried a sip of the Greek wine my wife ordered and it brought back memories of when we were in Greece. We would go back here again.
