France - Paris day 02 - Streets of Paris

Most of these pictures were taken on lle de la cite.



The next picture was taken at the deportation memorial. Each point of light represents a life taken by the concentration camps in WW2. The memorial is at the East end of the island.

 We didn't go visit the bar. We are here for the French experience after all.

 We saw a similar thing in Italy. If you put a lock on a bridge when thinkinking about your love of your life, it will last as long as the lock does. Do you really wast to trust a 5 euro lock to a relationship. Plus it looks like they are going to have to start cutting some soon.
 Look at the symbol in the middle of the sign...a Mason compass...
 Here is the door...three staves.
No grand sign either...
