Helsinki Markets

Helsinki has many markets, both permanent and temporary. We first went to the Hakaniemi Flea Market, near the market of the same name. It is right by the classic Oxygenol building and there is a professional market here from Monday to Saturday with the flea market here on a Sunday.
Look at those beans and chanterelle mushrooms!
We did find the average age of this market was...slightly older than us. Very popular too!

The next market we went to that day was Market Square on the harbour. In the Old Market Hall building is the slightly more permanent and upscale stalls.

Lots of cans of bear, moose, elk, and reindeer.

Here was our lunch, various open faced sandwiches of fish! They were delicious.
Outside was typical stalls. Except the reindeer skins.
