Tallinn Lower City - South and East

Tallinn is a working city in the old quarters too, not just for tourists although many do come here.
The opera house.

Olde Hansa, a "Medieval Times" kind of place.
 The town hall and square.

 Art deco style.

The meeting hall of the Brotherhood of the Black Heads. No, this is not a meeting place for acne sufferers. This was a German merchants club created in 1440 for single men who were commonly called up for battle and had no authority to protect them, thus the need for the Brotherhood. Once they were married they were generally asked to join the Great Guild closer to the Upper city.

The Sigmund Freud bar in a merchants house/warehouse.
