Church of Saint Francis and the Chapel of Bones

Built in the 17th century to make wealthy parishioners realize that all are equal after death, the chapel of bones is made from the remains of the dead monks who once resided in the graveyard that was nearby the church. The ceilings were painted in 1810 and depict many icons and relics important to Christians.

The church itself is going through a makeover to repair damage and mold.
Here is what it did look like.
The outside is now back to its original white.
