Penha Garcia - 1 of 3 - Walking Up

Penha Garcia has been inhabited since prehistoric times. The small castle was built after the area was taken back from the Moors to defend this central region and was chartered to the Templars. It was eventually returned to Royal control and for around 200 years was in control of a Count but was returned to royal control in 1790.
A tank beside a playground. Cool!
If you look carefully, you will see a small dog on the vehicle.

A cat family.
