Lisbon - Our Apartment in Alfama

For our stay in Lisbon, we rented an apartment for four nights in the Alfama district. It wasn't affected by the 1700's earthquake and is the oldest district in Lisbon.

We got our place from Lisbon Apartments but they have many other places around Alfama and Lisbon. It is a maze of streets so recommend to have a map/gps location of the place you are renting before going there. It is also handy to have one before going around this area as well.

Our place entrance is on the third floor so a little exercise in the morning and evening.
The kitchen was large enough to make simple meals and had a clothes washer and oven. Behind the picture taker was also a fold out couch.
TV (which remained off) and wifi which was used for travel information and email. Also it was the stairs to go up to...
...the bedroom. An unusual circular shape but was also the most comfortable mattress. It also had a window with views to...
...this and...
...this! We got some meats, cheese, bread and wine one night and ate looking out the window and hearing the fado singers perform in the streets below.
