Streets of Corbridge

Corbridge is not a big town, with ~3700 people. It does have small town charm though.

This building, the fortified vicarage of the Church of England of St Andrew, is mostly built of stone from Hadrian's Wall. It also has glass doors given by Rowan Atkinson, of Mr Bean and Blackadder fame, in honour of his mother. It also has a communal King's oven still on the side facing the street.

Most places are close by, in fact we were told that Corbridge is a bedroom community for people working in Newcastle and London!

There was this lovely pathway near our B&B. Corbridge is a nice little town.
