Walltown Crags to Roman Military Museum

The next leg was from Walltown Crags to the Roman Military Museum at Carvoran (Magna) Roman Fort.
Looking back East at where we had come.
Turret 45A, which may have predated the wall. by a short bit.

A great section of the wall.
Looking East at where we came.
This section of the wall was not reconstructed in the 19th century and is original.
Here is where Hadrian's wall meets the farm wall. Time to go left!

This path leads to...

...Walltown Quarry. It is a park with washrooms, snacks and tables.
