York Terror Trail

We decided to partake in a walking tour at night, called "York Terror Trail". They advertise that they tell you about the dark side of York and I would agree.
Instead of ghost stories they instead walk and talk about the dark side of humanity in York's past as well as little historical tidbits of the area. It was thoroughly engaging and I quite liked it.
I won't give away all their stories here but will talk about one. The red devil here was outside a printers and it was printers that created the red coloured devil. Because red dye was the cheapest to get they used it to print images of the devil as he deserved the worst. This created the image  of red devils in our minds today.
