Vallum Barn B&B and Breakfast

The Vallum Barn B&B was a pleasant place to stay, in particular for the greenery, old buildings, and hospitality.
This was the back of the building and the barn structure. I think it was built during the era of the border reivers.
The side of the B&B with greenery between it and their farming field.
The inner courtyard.
The view of the greenery.

A nice view of the courtyard from our room.
The common room
The adjoining dining room
We finished our hike early and the owner made tea and provided cookies for us as we sat in the common room. Nice!
I had a fantastic breakfast in the morning including smoked herring!
