Used Book Stores Between Digby and Wolfville

(Delayed posting. Visited during summer 2024)

With severe weather, especially in winter, reading books are a common hobby. That means LOTS of book stores. My favourites, between Digby and Wolfville, are the below two.

For wide selection, organized books, clean environment, helpful conversation, and good prices, Endless Shores Books in Bridgetown is the place to go in the area.

The whimsy of this staircase is very enjoyable.

My second favourite place is Blue Griffin Books in Middleton. The books on the shelves are haphazard, with stacks of volumes above and on the floor, and is in need of a good clean. Regardless it is a treasure house of hard to find local and antiquarian books for literary treasure hunters out there. The owner is informative and knows his stock. This is the kind of place one lingers hoping to find yet another book they want if they could just have five minutes more. Worth a couple of hours.

Thrift shops all over the area were also good places to stop.

Other places I visited were:

Annapolis Royal: Great Expectations Books (cafe and delicious chocolates too)

Coldbrook: Books Galore

Wolfville: Rainbow's End Books and The Odd Book (specializes in antiquarian works)
