Mi'kmawey Debert Interpretive Trail

(Delayed posting. Visited during summer 2024)

On my way to Pictou I went to the Mi'kmawey Debert Interpretive Trail, just South of Debert and slightly North and East of Masstown in Nova Scotia. Opened in 2003, the trail has many interpretive signs telling about the Mi'kmaq who came here and stayed after the last ice age ended 11000 years ago.

The following are pictures of the trail which is just over three kilometers long.

A health interaction with nature.
