Longfellow Restaurant at Grande Pre

(Delayed posting. Visited during summer 2024)

Just by the road near the Evangeline Hotel is the Longfellow Restaurant. I had supper and breakfast here during my stay.

For supper I first had a delicious zucchini salad: shaved zucchini, local arugula and greens, lemon, parmigiano reggiano, and EV Olive oil. I needed some vegetables and this fit the need wonderfully.

For a main I had the lobster spaghetti: Nova Scotia lobster, lobster cream, cultivated mushrooms, roasted cauliflower, and parmigiana reggiano with toasted bread. This hit the spot after a long day of book store treasure hunting.

For dessert I had local blueberry pie done right! No glutenous corn starched berries from a can here.

I had breakfast here on the third morning and enjoyed it. Angie's omelette: Tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers, and just melted cheese inside (I skipped the onions) plus house tomato basil sauce, parmesan, potato hash, and toast with a strawberry on the side.

I would eat here again.
