(Delayed posting. Visited during summer 2024)
Luckett was started by Pete Luckett, who started Pete's Frootique in the 90's. Selling it in 2015, he and his family concentrated on the vineyard they had started in 2000 at Grand-Pre. It now has a full tasting room and bistro as Luckett Vineyards and Bistro.
A great view and the phone booth works! Free long distance in North America.
I stayed for lunch and had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich with wild mushrooms, carolina bbq sauce, vinegar cole slaw, dill pickles, garlic aoli, and locally made kaiser bun. It was served with chowder (Atlantic lobster, cold water shrimp, scallops, fried leeks, chilli oil. Wine was their ortega. The sandwich, chowder, and wine were all great and the view could not be beaten.
