Chanterelle Restaurant, Inn, and Cottages

(Delayed posting. Visited during summer 2024)

The Chanterelle Inn and Cottages was a perfect and central place to stay in Cape Breton.

The rooms were just right and quiet.

There is a large area on the main level for relaxing, breakfast, and suppers at their restaurant.

They have a cozy area to enjoy a drink, ordered from their bar, and to peruse their large library.

The Inn is 13 km from the main highway, or 9 km if you get here from the North. This picture from their porch is deceptive as the trees are dense and tall.

It was great to eat breakfast or supper and see the hummingbirds flit about without a care in the world...except sustinance of course.

Below were two examples of the breakfasts we had during the three nights we stayed here.
