Suppers at the Chanterelle Restaurant

(Delayed posting. Visited during summer 2024)

While staying at the Chanterelle Inn, we ate at the restaurant twice. They have an interesting tasting menu here, shown below, where you choose full, fish, or meat and you still get the unmarked ones. Just ask ahead of time for vegetarian only options. Every dish was fantastic and the entire experience well worth the price. This establishment is a culinary gem of the Maritimes and Canada. The elevated treatment of local foods leaves nobody behind and instead tickles the taste buds in different ways and styles. Bravo!

Near Wolville in Nova Scotia, we chose Planter's Ridge Pinot Noir. It was a tasty choice that was versatile with each dish.

Daily vegetable were beets and berries with cheese.

As a wonderful after dinner treat we received chocolates from Cabotto Chocolates. Fortunately it was nearby so we each bought a box the next day. Unfortunately other people staying at Chanterelle grabbed the rest of the mango filled chocolates but fortunately we tried other ones that were delicious masterpieces of sweet goodness.

Our second time eating here, the menu is shown below.

Also from Planter's Ridge, the Rose.

Another delicious chocolate, this time dark blueberry.

We would definitely stay and eat here again.
