Celtic Music Interpretive Centre and Celtic Shores Trail

(Delayed posting. Visited during summer 2024)

The Celtic Music Interpretive Centre, in Cape Breton, have live music demonstrations in a large room where you can order food and drink. Tipping the performers is appreciated. They also have music workshops, display areas, and gift shop. They are open June to October and nights on Wednesday and Sunday afternoon. Off season they are open Sunday afternoons.

I had the haddock lunch which was tasty and brought back memories of good fish fry weekends.

The Celtic Shores Trail, and a stones throw from the Celtic centre (just look North and slightly to the left and you will see the entrance trail), this 92 km long trail is new since I was last here. We only took a quick look as we were onn the way to the beach.

Appropriate warning signs are always appreciated. Nobody likes an injury especially when on vacation.

Very cute "no littering" sign.

The spur from the Celtic Music Centre takes you to Indian Point beach.

Lots of rocks and some say thy have found fossils here.

Time to walk back to our rental car and continue our journey.
