Fort Beauséjour/Fort Cumberland Surroundings

(Delayed posting. Visited during summer 2024)

Normally here in the winter time, I was able to visit when the museum at Fort Beauséjour was open. This fort has importance in the history of the maritimes and the Acadians. More is available here. This post will be on the grounds around and leading up to the fort.

The fort is quite protected and hard to see with the sloping terrain.

Even close up it is a good defensible position.

Looking down from the front of the fort you have commanding views to the water. Next, the fort museum.
