Spain Day 12k - Alhambra Part 11 - Grounds and Lunch

Going back into the walls, we saw the aqueduct that brought water to its inhabitants.

The soft curve of the trees and mountains in the distance is a stroke of landscaping genius.

Some outbuildings.

Another great view.

This is the aquaduact and bridge between the Alhambra and the Generalife.

Mid-day we had lunch at Restaurante al Mimbre. In spite of its low reviews, we wanted a sit down meal to rest our feet and went here. We were happy. We tried two local dishes. First the Andalusi soup: broth, garlic, egg, bread.

Remonjon made with cod, oranges, egg, and vegetables.

That concludes our extensive visit to the Alhambra. Hope you enjoyed.
