Spain Day 15c - La Pedrera Loft and Apartments

The loft is where the laundry rooms were located. The roof structure was done in classic Catalan style, imported from Italy in the 14th century. Now it is part of the tour.

There are many apartments in La Pedrera but only a few are open to the public. They give a good look at the craftwork of Gaudi and furniture of the era in which it was built.

A typical tile in which one mold is made that can be applied to form a pattern.

Each floor has a different style ceiling in their rooms, which is mimicked on each floors stairwell wall. That way you know which floor you are on or need to go to.

Even the door handles had natural design incorporated. They were also practical as it was comfortable with right or left hands.
