Spain Day 19j - San Ildefonso Church

San Ildefonso is a Jesuit church done in the Baroque style. Started in 1629 it was finished in 1765. Unfortunatly for the Jesuits, the order was expelled from Spain by King Charles the third for instigating the Esquilache riots in 1766. They were not to return until the 20th century.

The bonus of this church is that you can climb one tower, go across a walkway, and descend down the other tower.

There is great views from inside the city walls.
